BEST LADY EVER!!!!!

I have to say I have had the privileged to be Barbara Cline's grand-daughter and one of her closest friends as well!! I love her to the Moon and Back!! Sadly last week my gram passed away from complications. She was a fighter to the end, no doubt about that. I loved every minute with her and will miss her greatly!! I would call her once or twice a week to talk on my way home from work and catch up with her. It has always been like that since the day I moved away for college and now to Texas.

My Gram and I had a special connections and sometimes when we were out people thought she was my mom and not my grandma. I am so happy that Gram is the one who drove out to Texas with me and got to see my life in Texas. I know she missed me but I know she knew I was happy in Texas doing my good thing. Our road trip was fun and the memories will last forever that's for sure. My Gram was always the person I could lean on and talk to about anything from boys to crazy sorority stuff she was there. And I loved hearing her stories about her growing up. Gram and I had a lot of adventures now that I think about it, we also spent a week together in Pueblo, CO visiting Uncle Ky and going on adventuress in mining towns to seeing the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs. I'm am so happy and thankful to have those adventures with her.

I will miss the talks with Gram and collecting cute little lady bug things just for her and the obsession she had with those little bugs. I will always think about Gram whenever I see a lady bug or a cute outfit with lady bugs on it. I'm SO grateful that my niece got to spend time with GG and they loved each other with out a doubt! I'm sad that my kids will never know GG but they will through pictures and me talking about her. And knowing my Gram she will be at everything because she never missed a game, show day or any milestone in any of our lives. I'm glad she was always there at every BBQ,birthday party and  tailgate (if she wasn't there she would send her famous 7 layer dip). Gram always asked 20 questions about what you are up too and yes it would get annoying but at the same time we always answered them, she only asked them because she wanted to know what we were up too!!

Some of my fondness memories include my Gram and our random adventures we had. Like when I was home in May and we had to chase chickens together cause we accidentally let 2 out while we were feeding them. She picked them up and scolded the chickens not me for getting out. I'll never forget Gram bringing the best snacks to the games so that I never went without or spent a ton of money at the Snack Shack. Gram always loved coming to fair and seeing what I did and all the Barn Tour kids!! She loved being there! Heck she even came to Texas during fair week to see that fair. I still feel bad cause (yet chuckle) I took Gram to Easter dinner with Mark and I and I spilled the world's biggest water glass on her. Totally on accident but she gave me poop for it saying it was pay back for something. I LOVE that lady!!

There will not be a day that she won't be missed by our family and friends. She loved all of  us!! Friends were blurred into family and Gram saw no difference. She was there for us all!!! So next time you see a lady bug think of Gram!! We all know she is watching over us not missing a beat!! LOVE YA TO THE MOON AND BACK!!
