Upcycling a sweatshirt

I decided to get crafty cause I was going to teach this to kids so I thought I better figure it out first. And I took an old sweatshirt and turned it into a cute bag.

I used the front of the sweatshirt to be the main focus of the bag. And I am so excited how it turned out and how big it is!

I added some polka dot fabric to the bag to jazz it up and make it fun!! I can't wait to teach it and use it!

Fall Fun Time

It's that time of year where the leaves start to change color, the air gets cooler, the days get shorter and candy is EVERYWHERE!! I love carving pumpkins with my family and I convinced Mark and Haiden to get on board and do it with me as well. Here are just a few of the pumpkins we carved in Texas and in California!! I wish I could enjoy all the pumpkins more at my place but my place isn't big enough for pumpkins. Maybe next year.

Craftiness

I have been so busy making creations and I love it!!! I can't wait to get started on some of the Christmas gifts I have planned!! But all the while I have been creating my friends and family have been loving them and buying them. I have joined the world of Etsy and opened a store hoping to reach a bigger audience and I even have a blog to help highlight items and people get to know the products. One year down..........

I can't believe it's been one year since I took the plunge and moved to Texas from California!!! I have loved every minute of it!! It has been a non stop adventure the whole time. From road trips to San Antonio to Oklahoma City and every where in between. I have made some really good friend, and yes I do miss my friends back home. I have an amazing life here in Wise County, Texas and I am very blessed as well as fortunate to have a job that I love, friends that are dear and a Man  in my life I treasure!!!

Yes there as been some struggles and bumps in the road but like my dad says they help build character!!! I had the worse of my home sick when my Gram was sick and sadly passed away. I wish I could have been closer but I know she would have been more upset about me showing up and coming out there just for her. But I did it once any ways cause I love her ( to the moon and back). I do miss seeing my Lambchop and other kiddos in my life on a more regular basis but thank God for video chats and cell phones!! I still get to see the little ones from time to time. I know my times homes are short and sweet but it's nice to be home from time to time. 

I can't wait for what the future holds for me here in Texas. Whatever it might be it will for sure be an adventure. It might bring me babies, marriage, puppies, houses, laughter, tears, sweat, family, vacations, stay-cations, work, play and what all ties it together is LOVE of my well rounded life. I look forward to the next year in Texas............stay tuned you never know what is gonna happen!!!
